If you are a Behaviour Mentor or have experience working with children and young people who present with Social, Emotional and Mental Heal Difficulties then we would love to hear from you!

We are working with Alternative Provisions, Pupil Referral Units and SEMH Academies across Nottingham City who require resilient staff who can support young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties.

Our provisions are based in the City Centre (NG6, NG7 and NG8) and would benefit from candidates with any of the following:

  • Experience in specialist SEMH schools or academies
  • Experience in Alternative Provisions, supporting students with more practical subjects such as Construction, Motor Vehicle Mechanics and Hair and Beauty
  • Resilient attitude to working with young people who may present with challenging behaviour 
  • Nurturing personality and able to deal with students who may have anxiety
  • Experienced in any mental health setting
  • Experience working with yougn offenders or those with complex Mental Health difficulties in any capacity
  • Committed to being a positive role model for disaffected young people and going the extra mile wherever required
  • Confident dealing with safeguarding disclosures/incidents following the correct protocols
  • Experience in prisons or youth offending settings

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
