Teaching Personnel are currently working with a supportive and well-resourced school in South West London, seeking a dedicated SEN / SEMH Teacher to join their team.

This role is ideal for a confident and adaptable teacher who is comfortable working across Early Years, Primary, and potentially older learners, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs.


  • Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
  • Applications without QTS or a DBS on the update service will not be considered

As a full-time SEN/SEMH Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting pupils with additional needs, helping them engage with learning and reach their full potential.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
  • Supporting pupils with SEMH needs, promoting emotional regulation and positive behaviour
  • Working across EYFS, KS1, KS2, and potentially older age groups
  • Creating a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment
  • Implementing EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and external professionals
  • Managing behaviour effectively using positive strategies

  • Hold QTS (essential)
  • Have experience working with SEN and/or SEMH pupils
  • Are confident working across a range of age groups
  • Have strong behaviour management skills
  • Are patient, resilient, and passionate about supporting vulnerable learners
  • Are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Can bring structure, empathy, and consistency to their teaching
