Support Staff: 3-4 LSAs per class

A SEN Teacher is sought for an Autism Provision within a primary school in Lambeth, catering to a small group of 10 students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The ideal candidate will be an experienced and confident professional, capable of quickly adapting to the role and creating a structured, supportive learning environment. The class is supported by 3-4 LSAs, ensuring ample assistance to help meet each student's individual needs.

Key Responsibilities for the SEN Teacher:

• Plan and deliver tailored lessons that address the specific educational and behavioural requirements of students with Autism.
• Collaborate effectively with LSAs to ensure that students receive the necessary one-on-one or small group support.
• Implement strong classroom management strategies, promoting a calm and focused learning environment.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Autism and its impact on learning, adjusting your teaching style to suit different abilities and needs.
• Work closely with parents, carers, and external professionals to monitor and support the child's educational and personal development.

Requirements for the SEN Teacher:
