Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Portsmouth, Hampshire

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children with special educational needs (SEN)? We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our schools in Portsmouth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children with a variety of learning and physical disabilities.
  • Assist in the development of individual education plans (IEPs) for students.
  • Help to create a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
  • Work closely with teachers and other professionals to ensure the best possible support for each student.
  • Encourage social and emotional development, fostering independence and confidence.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with children with SEN (desirable but not essential).
  • Strong communication skills and a patient, caring approach.
