Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit Support Assistants to support a SEN School within the Manchester area. The schools are specially designed to support children aged 4 – 11 with wide range of learning difficulties including autism, PMLD, SLD, complex medical needs, sensory impairments, and physical disabilities.
There are full-time roles available (8.30am-3.30pm). The school creates an inclusive environment which allows their students to thrive. Many students who attend these schoos are working below their age-related expectations and therefore, the school creates an academic programme with suits the individual needs of each pupil. The curriculum focuses on sensory therapeutic practice and helping the pupil to develop their motor skills.

In order to be an Support Assistant in these provisions, you will need to be a calm, caring and nurturing individual who wants to enrich the lives of young people with SEND.
It is more important that you have a child centred approach and have the desire to help the young people who attend the provision. The school would be keen to welcome applications from people who have previously worked in care or has personal experience caring for those with SEND.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
