SEN Primary Teacher

Rikama Education are recruiting for a high-performing Pupil Referral Unit offering a unique approach to learning.

The students achieve beyond expectations in all Key Stages. The pandemic had a profound impact on students who are being referred to this school. They have seen a rise in KS3 students referred as a direct result of being educated at home.

They have introduced a Primary model for their year 7 and year 8 intervention students. This allows them to catch up before returning to mainstream education. The school is looking to appoint inspiring and enthusiastic teachers to join a community of staff dedicated to transforming the lives of the students.

The students have experienced difficulties in mainstream schools and often have behavioural, emotional and social difficulties. In this role you will have the opportunity to teach, inspire and develop our students' communication and social skills.

The successful candidate will hold a QTS and have successful teaching experience at KS2, preferably year 5 and 6
