SEN Learning Support Assistant's needed

Pay: £70-£80 per day

An experienced SEN TA is needed for a group of 8 children between the ages of 7-12 with complex needs at a new special school in Ilford

The class has complex needs, including autism, and has a ratio of 1 adult for every 2 students.

The right candidate should be independent and hardworking, and willing to get stuck in at a new special school.

The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant should:

  • Have experience working with children with SEN (Autism, ADHD, Global Delay, MLD/SLD) on 1:1 basis or in classes
  • Preferred training or experience in Makaton, PECS, or be Team Teach trained
  • Be flexible, versatile, and dedicated
  • Be able to communicate effectively within a team
  • Be committed to work full-time/ part-time/ day to day.
