We are currently recruiting experienced and dedicated SEN 1:1 Tutors to support pupils in home or school settings across the Derby (DE21) area.

This rewarding role involves working with children and young people who may require additional support due to SEN/SEND needs, Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, anxiety, school avoidance, or gaps in education. You will provide tailored one-to-one support to help pupils build confidence, re-engage with learning, and achieve positive outcomes.

  • Deliver personalised 1:1 tuition during school hours
  • Adapt teaching methods and learning resources to suit individual pupil needs
  • Support pupils academically, emotionally, and socially
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, families, and schools
  • Encourage engagement, confidence, and independence in learning
  • Monitor progress and maintain accurate session records
  • Provide a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Minimum 1 years teaching experience within the UK
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN/SEND
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills
  • Patient, reliable, and flexible approach
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Driving licence and access to transport preferred
