Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a confident and proactive Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEMH secondary provision in Failsworth. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is ready to take initiative and play an active role in supporting young people.
About the School
This provision supports pupils aged 11–16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The school provides a structured and nurturing environment, helping pupils re-engage with education and develop both emotionally and academically.
Staff work together to create a consistent and supportive setting, where confidence, encouragement, and strong relationships are key to pupil success.
The Role
This is a hands-on role requiring someone who is confident, energetic, and willing to get fully involved in school life. You will support pupils in managing behaviour, engaging in lessons, and developing positive routines.
The successful candidate will be expected to use their initiative, respond to situations independently, and adapt quickly to meet the needs of the pupils throughout the day.
