Do you have passion for supporting young people with social and emotional needs to help them reach their full potential academically?

A vibrant and supportive mainstream secondary school in Bury are looking to recruit an SEMH Teaching Assistant on a full-time temporary basis, ASAP.

The SENCO and pastoral team are looking for a passionate, patient and dynamic individual for the role of SEMH Teaching Assistant  who can support a group of identified pupils aged 11-16. The pupils will require extra support with their emotional well-being, lesson engagement, and understanding the current scheme of work which the school will advise you on.

Highlights of the role:

  • Full-time SEMH Teaching Assistant
  • Starting ASAP - likely to be required until July 2021
  • Earning £1300 a month, paid weekly
  • Delivering tailored learning activities to a group of identified pupils with SEMH and struggling to reengage with learning
  • Working at a supportive and inclusive mainstream secondary school in Bury
  • Previous experience with SEMH and young people is very desirable
  • Exclusive access to a range of CPD courses
