SEMH Teacher – Wisbech (January 2025 Start)

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a dedicated SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) teacher to join a leading and highly reputable SEMH/SEN school group in Wisbech. This is a permanent, full-time position starting in January 2025 or sooner for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will work with students aged 7-16 who have SEMH and additional learning needs, providing tailored, engaging lessons in a nurturing and supportive environment. The school offers a holistic approach to education, prioritising student well-being and personal development alongside academic progress.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience working with students with SEMH or SEN needs.
  • Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to create a positive, inclusive classroom.
  • Passion for supporting vulnerable students and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with support staff and external agencies.
  • A proactive and resilient approach to challenges.
