About the Role:

We are seeking experienced and adaptable secondary school teachers to work on a supply basis in a variety of schools across the Southend area. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in different schools, while enjoying the flexibility of supply work. Whether you are looking for short-term placements or longer-term cover, we have opportunities to suit your preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lessons across a range of subjects and year groups, ensuring continuity of learning for students
• Follow the schools' curriculum and lesson plans, adapting where necessary to meet the needs of the class
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and promote positive behaviour
• Support students in achieving their academic goals during your time in the classroom
• Work flexibly across various secondary schools in the Southend area

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
• Strong classroom management skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school environments
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A proactive and positive attitude towards supply teaching
