  • Provide tailored support and guidance to secondary school students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Develop individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to help students achieve academic progress
  • Monitor and track students' progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary

 

  • Experience working with students with SEN in a secondary school setting
  • Knowledge of SEN provisions and best practises in education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

 

  • At least 2 years of experience working as a SEN Tutor or in a similar role

 

  • Understanding of different learning styles and methods to support students with SEN
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage individual learning plans

 

  • Additional training in SEN support or related field
  • Experience with assessment and evaluation of students' progress

 

  • Part-Time hours, flexible schedule
  • Work primarily in a secondary school environment
  • Collaborative work with teachers, parents, and support staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
