We are working with a welcoming secondary school in Bolton to recruit a Science Teacher for a start in Easter 2026. This role is suitable for ECTs and experienced teachers, with the opportunity to teach across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available depending on experience and specialism).

You will be joining a supportive science department with strong leadership and a focus on high-quality teaching and learning.

  • Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Plan, prepare and assess lessons to meet the needs of all learners
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and promote a positive learning environment
  • Track pupil progress and contribute to department planning
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards QTS
  • Ability to teach Science at KS3 and KS4
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
  • Passion for Science and raising student achievement
