Science Teacher - Full Time, Permanent Position

Are you a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity? We are partnering with a highly regarded secondary school to find an enthusiastic and skilled Science Teacher to join their team.

Position: Science Teacher (ECT's welcome) 
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Northampton
Start Date: April 2025

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality science lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4 (KS3 and KS4), with potential to teach A-Level.
  • Plan, prepare, and teach engaging and innovative lessons to inspire students.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuous improvement in teaching and learning.
  • Support extracurricular activities and contribute to the school community.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. (ECT's welcome) 
  • Strong knowledge of the science curriculum (Chemistry preferred but any speicialism welcomed)
  • Passion for inspiring and educating young minds.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to the success and well-being of students.
  • Experience in teaching Science at secondary level (desirable but not essential).
