Opportunity to join a large secondary school in Salford, known for its strong support system for staff and recent jump in performance tables.

  • Full-time Science teacher.
  • Starting in September 2022.
  • Must hold QTS and have experience teaching Science up to GCSE Level.
  • Teaching a full timetable across Key Stage Three and GCSE with full planning and marking responsibilities.
  • Pay in line with teaching scale point (£25,714 - £41,604 per annum).

Working as a Science teacher in our client school, you will be expected to:

  • Support with the development of Schemes of Work in line with the National Curriculum for Science.
  • Plan, prepare and deliver Science lessons to meet the needs of students at various levels of learning.

Our client school is in Salford and can be accessed via the M62/A580 from surrounding areas such as Bolton, Swinton and Manchester. For non-drivers, there are several public transportation links from surrounding areas of central Manchester.

Both experienced and newly qualified Science teachers are welcome to apply for this position as all relevant induction support will be provided.
