About the Role We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join a friendly primary school team in Grimsby. You will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- General cleaning of classrooms, corridors, offices, and communal areas
- Ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
- Cleaning and sanitising surfaces and touch points
- Reporting any maintenance or health & safety issues
Requirements- Must hold an enhanced DBS certificate
- Safeguarding certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Previous cleaning experience (preferred but not essential)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Understanding of basic health & safety in a school setting
