Reading Intervention Teacher
Part time intervention role (2-5 afternoons per week)

Teaching Personnel require teachers to deliver intervention sessions, we have had a high volume of schools in East Lancashire area that have recently approached us to source teachers (NQTs and fully qualified teachers) to deliver intervention/booster sessions. Specifically, a using school within Blackburn, is hoping to successfully appoint someone on a temporary basis to work with children across Key Stage 1 and 2.
The part time position is to start in September 2020 until December 2020, depending on funding the role may be extended until April 2021. You will be supporting small groups of children in Year 1 - Year 5, by delivering ‘out of class’ reading booster sessions. Experience delivering intervention sessions in English/ Phonics/ Reading is essential. A Reading Recovery trained teacher is desirable however not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
