Contract: Full time

 Pay: Paid to scale (£168 – £233 per day)

About the Role:

An average sized Primary school near the picturesque town of Hythe is seeking an experienced Year 6 teacher to commit to supporting children through their Year 6 SATS tests and beyond. This is a role with full class teacher responsibilities, initially until the end of the academic year but could be extended.

You will be responsible for planning, teaching, and assessing a Year 6 Class including seeing them through mock SATs, working closely with a year group partner and a full time LSA.  The role includes full teaching responsibilities and offers the opportunity to contribute to wider school life.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Primary Teacher with Year 6 experience
• Confident in managing classroom routines and expectations.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Skilled in adapting teaching to meet a range of pupil needs, including SEND

Requirements

• UK-recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Year 6
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
• Compliance with DfE and Safer Recruitment standards.
