Maternity cover – Primary Teacher required in Southampton

Part- time 0.6  contract 8:00- 4:00 (Weds, Thurs, Fri)

Pay: paid to scale

Start date – September 2025

We at Supply Desk are seeking a Primary for a 3 day a week job share. The school is a “Good” school and is a relatively new build with excellent resources. Children within this school are proud to attend and work hard to achieve to the very best of their ability.  

About the school:

This is a warm and welcoming school on the outskirts of Southampton with a village feel community.

What the school requires:

  • An experienced Primary Teacher able to work in a class share
  • The ability to manage  LSAs within the class
  • An excellent knowledge of phonics (the school uses Little Wandle)
  • The ability to differentiate for the needs of SEND children within the class
  • A professional with high standards and a passion for learning development

What we ask from you?

Our service is free of charge but all we ask is that you are compliant with the Department for Education guidelines and you:

-      Have a current DBS on the update service or are prepared to obtain one

-      Hold a teaching qualification recognised in the UK

-      Are an experienced teacher
