Teaching Personnel is looking for a Primary Teacher in Ottery St Mary to fill a current full and part time role. This role is ongoing, but will be continuing in September for the right candidate. We are on the lookout for ECTs or experienced teachers looking for a new challenge. You should be passionate about teaching and helping children reach their full potential. The right candidate will be willing to lead a classroom and work with a range of ages.

The role:

As a Primary Teacher you will help drive and support the progress of the class. Be willing to prepare and plan the lessons. Create a positive classroom environment and keep the pupils focused on task. Build good relationships with the staff and pupils. Take on extra responsibilities and duties throughout the school where required.

The candidate:

Be qualified to teach KS1 and KS2. Be patient and approachable when working with children. Be open and honest, whilst embracing the school and pupils. Maintain a high level of classroom control and discipline throughout the school. Be able to install confidence in the students, successively raising their attainment levels within the classroom.

We are also currently looking for flexible supply teachers to cover varying requirements.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
