Salary: £165 - £210 Per day

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons to support pupils aged 5-16 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties.
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that caters to the individual needs of each student.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for pupils.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behaviour, and academic performance.

- Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

- Strong understanding of SEMH difficulties and experience working with pupils with special educational needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Knowledge of relevant curriculum guidelines and educational policies.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children with additional needs.

- Additional training or qualifications in special education or SEN support.
- Experience working in a similar role within a special provision or SEN school.

- The role involves working with vulnerable children and may require additional safeguarding training.
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday, within the school term calendar.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
