Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Teaching Personnel is looking for a committed and compassionate Teaching Assistant to work full-time across Primary year groups in Plymouth, providing tailored support to pupils with a range of additional needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in SEN support who is looking to make a meaningful impact in the classroom. You’ll be working closely with teachers and SENCOs to help pupils access learning, develop confidence, and thrive in a mainstream school environment.

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN.
• Assist with classroom activities and differentiated learning.
• Support emotional regulation and behaviour management strategies.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and external professionals.

• Experience supporting children with SEN (e.g. autism, ADHD, speech & language needs).
• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
