We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary SEN Teacher (QTS) to work within a specialist SEN school or SEN provision in Oldham. This role is ideal for a primary teacher who is passionate about inclusive education and supporting pupils with additional needs.


  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons aligned with the primary curriculum and individual SEN needs.

  • Support pupils with autism, communication needs, sensory processing difficulties and developmental delays.

  • Create a calm, structured and nurturing classroom environment.

  • Contribute to EHCP targets, personalised learning plans and review processes.

  • Work collaboratively with SENCOs, therapists, teaching assistants and wider support staff.

  • Use inclusive strategies such as visuals, structured routines and differentiated resources.

  • Monitor progress through assessments, observations and accurate record-keeping.

  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding and inclusive practice.


  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • Experience teaching at primary level (mainstream or SEN).

  • Strong understanding of SEN, safeguarding and inclusive practice.

  • Full availability Monday-Friday during school hours.


  • Experience working with pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH or complex needs.

  • Experience in specialist SEN schools or alternative provision.

  • Knowledge of EHCP processes and personalised learning pathways.


  • Two years of employment references.

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (support available).

  • Overseas Police checks if applicable.
