A primary provision in the North – West of Bristol works with Teaching Personnel where they encourage students onto a positive path by the guidance of their supportive staff. The teaching position is for the schools ASD class which is made up of 6 students with the needs of the students being complex and some non-verbal also.

 

The ideal candidate

  • Be an ECT or fully qualified Teacher
  • Be enthusiastic and able to engage children in their learning.
  • Confident de-escalating challenging behaviour, adaptable and resilient in challenging environments
  • Has experience working with SEN children as the pupils have complex needs with some being no-verbal.

Information about the role:

  • Immediate start (04.09.24). Full-time, term time only 8:15 – 3:45.
  • Classroom size of 6 pupils, creating strong relationships with the students

with lots of classroom support with 2-3 TA’s.

  • The role is initially until the January with the potential of being extended to a direct contract.
  • Paid to scale and paid weekly and do not use Umbrella companies to process your payment.  
  • On site car parking

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
