Primary School Classroom Teacher | Merton
We are seeking a KS1/KS2 Teacher for our high-achieving partner school in Mitcham. The school is dedicated to fostering a supportive and dynamic learning environment where every child can excel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students.
- Use a variety of teaching methods to support student learning and cater to individual learning styles.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to achieve their full potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student learning and wellbeing.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to continually improve teaching practices.
- Maintain high standards of classroom management and discipline in line with school policies.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and curriculum.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching qualifications.
- Proven experience teaching at the primary level in a high achieving school.
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective teaching practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to embrace new ideas.
