Supply Desk is working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Beaconsfield to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic PPA Cover Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity for a flexible and confident teacher to work across year groups, delivering high-quality lessons and supporting continuity of learning.

This role would suit a passionate and adaptable teacher with a strong understanding of the primary curriculum, who enjoys variety and is confident covering lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.

As a PPA Cover Teacher, you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality learning continues while class teachers are released for their planning, preparation, and assessment time.

  • Delivering pre-planned, engaging lessons across a range of year groups
  • Maintaining continuity of learning and ensuring pupils stay on track
  • Adapting teaching strategies to suit different age groups and abilities
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and productive classroom environment
  • Providing brief feedback to class teachers on pupil progress and engagement
  • Supporting pupils of varying abilities, including those with SEN
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and the wider school community
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Desirable
  • Experience teaching within primary education (EYFS, KS1, or KS2)
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • A flexible, confident, and adaptable approach to teaching
  • Ability to quickly build rapport with pupils and staff
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in Beaconsfield from September
  • Experience delivering PPA cover across multiple year groups
  • Strong knowledge across the primary curriculum
  • Experience supporting pupils with additional needs (SEN)
  • Confidence delivering a range of subjects, including PE, art, or music
  • Varied and engaging role across different year groups
