As a Secondary Physics Teacher, you will teach KS4 students how to apply formulas, understand processes, and develop strong problem-solving skills through clear, structured lessons.

Key responsibilities
Teach GCSE Physics
Explain key topics such as forces, energy, and electricity
Support students with calculations and problem-solving
Reinforce formulas and scientific language
Prepare students for exams
Track progress and address misconceptions
Maintain structured classroom routines

The classroom environment
Lessons are clear and step-by-step
Students follow structured methods
Behaviour is consistent
Learning is focused

Skills and experience
Strong Physics subject knowledge
Clear explanation skills
Experience teaching preferred
Strong classroom management

What success looks like
Students solve problems independently
Improved accuracy in exams
Confidence increases across ability levels

QTS is desirable; unqualified teachers are welcome to apply, particularly those with Physics or engineering backgrounds
