***Make sure you have the right qualifications and have completed your research to start a MSC in Drama Therapy or have the ability to do a conversion from your current degree ***
This LSA - Performing Arts Graduate in Dorking, based in a specialist provision for boys, aged 9-16, who have all been excluded from their mainstream education. Positive reinforcement and restorative practice plays a large part in this role as the boys discover who they are and manage the traumas they have been through. The boys have a personalised curriculum of which, Drama, Music and Art play a large part in allowing the boys to express themselves.
Drama aids with positive re-enforcement, it's a great way of focussing the boys on their objective of getting back into mainstream education or into a local college, when they leave the school
With the current context, have your objectives changed and how? Could this Drama Teaching Assistant role help you achieve those? This role isn't for everyone, it can be incredibly challenging and rewarding - a real dichotomy and contradiction at times, but incredibly rewarding. Some of the good work you install, you will never get to see the full fruits of.

***LSA role, working 1:1 and in small seminar groups - max of 6-8 in a class - Increasing attainment in a number of different areas
***All Male provision, students are all male, aged 9-16. All have been excluded from their mainstream schools, focus on positive reinforcement
***8:45 to 4pm - £80 per day, PAYE, Monday to Friday, Contract until July 2021
***Working with specialist Teachers & SEN specialists at work, as well as several tutors and LSAs
***Focus on GSCE and AQA subjects, huge push on creative subjects.
