Smile Education is recruiting on behalf of an amazing secondary school for a Physical Education Teacher to provide long-term cover at a welcoming school in Solihull.
This is a full teaching role starting in March 2026, expected to be minimum until end of academic year with full responsibility for planning, delivery, and assessment.
🏫 The Role
- Teach Physical Education across KS3 & KS4
- Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive PE lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Take full responsibility for planning, marking, and assessment
- Maintain positive behaviour and high expectations
- Work collaboratively within a supportive PE department and wider school team
✅ Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- PE subject specialism
- Available for a full-time, long-term placement
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
