Part-time Primary Teacher

Part-time teaching is for you!

Part-time Hours: (Days may vary until role is secured)

Pay: £120 - £140 per day

Location: Burnley, Lancashire 

You will need to be able to build strong relationships to work collaboratively with the other part-time teacher and teaching assistants in your class.

Responsibilities:

  • Build positive relationships with the children so that strong behaviour management can be promoted.
  • Plan, prepare, deliver and assess children’s learning by identifying gaps.
  • Create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development.
  • Have a good understanding of the National Curriculum to help children achieve their full potential.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to ensure children can reach their full potential.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
  • Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service.
  • Experience supporting children with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
  • Excellent Safeguarding knowledge.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
