Are you passionate about supporting young people who thrive with a more personalised, nurturing approach to education?
Quantum Scholars is currently seeking compassionate, adaptable, and engaging Outreach Tutors to deliver tailored 1:1 support for pupils accessing alternative provision across Wokingham and the wider Berkshire area.
This is a highly rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people by helping them overcome barriers to learning, rebuild confidence, and positively re-engage with education.
We welcome applications from experienced tutors, teachers, intervention specialists, learning mentors, SEN professionals, youth workers, pastoral staff, HLTAs, TAs, and individuals with experience supporting children and young people with additional needs.
You will provide personalised 1:1 outreach tuition and intervention support to primary and secondary-aged pupils who are currently unable to access mainstream education.
Many of the learners we support may have needs relating to:
Sessions take place during school hours and are delivered either within the pupil's home or in suitable community settings.
QTS and formal teaching qualifications are desirable but not essential for all opportunities. A degree in a relevant subject area is advantageous.
