Teaching Personnel are currently on the hunt for a Nursery Teaching Assistant to work in Cardiff on a longer-term basis until the end of the Academic year!

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive early years team.

About the Role:
As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, you will support the class teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where young children can learn and develop through play.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support children with learning activities, play, and daily routines

• Assist in creating a warm, safe, and engaging nursery environment

• Encourage children’s social, emotional, and educational development

• Work closely with the nursery team and communicate effectively with parents/carers

• Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times

Key Skills

• Has a genuine passion for working with young children

• Is patient, reliable, and caring

• Works well as part of a team

• Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting is desirable (but not essential)

• Relevant childcare qualification is an advantage
