Are you a passionate Nursery teacher who believes in creating a joyful, nurturing start to a child's education? A welcoming primary setting in Plumstead is seeking a dedicated Nursery Teacher to join their team from April on a fixed-term contract.
About the Role
- You'll create a stimulating, language-rich environment where children feel safe, valued and inspired to explore.
- Planning and delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences
- Supporting children's social, emotional and academic development
- Observing, assessing and tracking progress in line with EYFS expectations
- Building strong relationships with parents and carers
- Working collaboratively with support staff and colleagues
We're Looking for Someone Who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has a recognised Bachelor's degree or equivalent higher qualification
- Holds GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above) - Science at GCSE level is desirable
- Has a secure understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of early child development and effective early years practice
