Job Description:
Smile Education is seeking an experienced Nursery Assistant to join our team starting ASAP. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a group of 10 children, working closely under the direction of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Leader and the Assistant Head.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a group of 10 children aged 3-4.
- Implement and support activities in line with the EYFS curriculum.
- Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for all children.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
- Assist with the planning and preparation of daily activities and learning experiences.
- Monitor and record children's progress and development.
Qualifications and Requirements:- Relevant nursery qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent).
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Passion for early childhood education and child development.
