Music Teacher

As a Music Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and imaginative music lessons across Key Stages (KS3–KS4/KS5 as appropriate)

• Inspire students through performance, composition, listening, and music technology

• Lead and develop ensembles, choirs, bands, or orchestras, encouraging participation from all students

• Prepare students for concerts, productions, and examinations

• Use a wide range of musical styles, genres, and technologies to engage diverse learners

• Create an inclusive and supportive environment where creativity and confidence flourish

• Contribute to the wider cultural life of the school through performances and events

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop an exciting and ambitious music curriculum

• Has strong musical expertise and the ability to inspire students of all abilities

• Is confident teaching performance, composition, and music theory

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
