As a Music Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging and imaginative music lessons across Key Stages (KS3–KS4/KS5 as appropriate)
Inspire students through performance, composition, listening, and music technology
Lead and develop ensembles, choirs, bands, or orchestras, encouraging participation from all students
Prepare students for concerts, productions, and examinations
Use a wide range of musical styles, genres, and technologies to engage diverse learners
Create an inclusive and supportive environment where creativity and confidence flourish
Contribute to the wider cultural life of the school through performances and events
Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop an exciting and ambitious music curriculum
We’re looking for someone who:
Holds a relevant teaching qualification (or is working towards one)
Has strong musical expertise and the ability to inspire students of all abilities
Is confident teaching performance, composition, and music theory
Brings energy, creativity, and a genuine love of music into the classroom
Enjoys teamwork and contributing to a thriving school community
Is committed to professional growth and artistic development
Enthusiastic students eager to perform and create
Well-equipped music facilities, including practice rooms and music technology resources
Supportive leadership and a strong focus on the arts

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
