Music Teacher – Flexible Contracts Available

Supply Desk are working closely with a welcoming secondary school in Rochester, Medway, who are currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Music Teacher for a full-time position starting September 2025, initially running until Christmas, with the possibility of extension.

This opportunity is ideal for Music Teachers who are looking for flexible teaching contracts, whether you're open to short or long-term roles, and want to make a positive impact in a supportive school setting.

About the Role

• Full-time Music teaching role at a secondary school in Rochester
• Teach engaging and inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Plan and deliver creative lessons that cater to a range of abilities
• Monitor and assess student progress effectively
• Potential involvement in extracurricular music activities

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• A degree in Music or related field
• Experience teaching Music at secondary level up to KS4
• Passionate, reliable, and flexible approach to teaching
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to hit the ground running and adapt to new school environments
