Fully Qualified Music Teacher
Part Time (3 days per week)
Surbiton, Kingston Upon Thames

Dates: January 2025 – July 2025

We are working with a warm and popular school located in Surbiton.
They are seeking a music teacher to cover PPA classes and teach music across the whole school. Whilst also leading the school choir and singing assemblies.

They would like to appoint an outstanding Teacher of Music who has a proven track record of good or outstanding classroom practice.  

The successful candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education)
• Have extensive experience teaching Music
• Be passionate about working with children
• Have excellent behaviour management skills
• Be able to manage and oversee the progress of up to thirty students per class on a daily basis
• Hold or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check (Child Workforce only)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
