The school is looking for an experienced and motivated teacher of Music to join their growing music department, within the performing art faculty. This teacher will be responsible for classes in both KS3 and KS4 and will be required to plan, assess and mark for all students in their cohort as well as assist the larger department with planning and monitoring of all pupils. You will work within the school to create a friendly learning environment, with an emphasis on achievement. You will also work with the performing arts department to plan and produce the school productions.
As a new member of the school and department you will be on a temporary contract initially for the first term from September until Christmas, with a permanent contract being offered in April If suitable, this will initially be paid on a day rate equivalent to your pay scale and responsibilities before being transferred to the permanent contract at or above you pay scale depending on performance, pay will range from £24373 to £46877 per annum.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
