£20 - £30 Per hour

The Maths Tutor will be responsible for providing individual or small group tutoring sessions to students. This includes assessing students' learning needs, creating tailored lesson plans, delivering engaging and informative lessons, and tracking student progress.

A relevant degree in Mathematics or Education is required. A teaching qualification such as a PGCE or equivalent is desirable.

Prior experience in tutoring or teaching Mathematics is essential. Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is highly desirable.

Demonstrated expertise in Mathematics, ability to effectively communicate complex concepts, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles.

This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The Maths Tutor may work in a school, educational institution, or provide private tutoring services. The ability to travel to different locations for tutoring sessions may be required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
