Position: Teaching Assistant
Location: Sutton Coldfield
Smile Education are currently recruiting on behalf of a primary school based in Sutton Coldfield who are looking for an experienced KS1 teaching assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging, high-quality lessons.
- Support KS1 pupils in their academic and social development.
- Provide one-on-one or small-group assistance to children who need additional support.
- Help prepare materials, resources, and activities that cater to a range of learning styles.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes student well-being.
Requirements- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience working in a KS1 envionment.
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and confidence in supporting pupils.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
