About the Role:

  • Position: Learning Support SEN Teaching Assistant

  • Contract: Full-Time / Part-Time
  • Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Your Mission:This is not just a job; it’s a chance to change lives. You’ll be working closely with students who need a little extra help to shine, offering both one-on-one and group support.

Your role will include:
  • Tailoring learning experiences to meet the needs of students with a variety of SEN, including autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, and more.
  • Collaborating with classroom teachers and the SENCO to design and implement support strategies that enable each child to thrive.
  • Offering emotional and social support, ensuring every student feels valued, confident, and included.
  • Using creative and innovative approaches to break down barriers to learning, whether it’s through visual aids, sensory tools, or interactive activities.
  • Being a positive, encouraging presence—celebrating the small wins that make the biggest difference!

What We’re Looking For:We need someone who’s not just in it for the job, but for the rewarding experience of seeing students grow and succeed.

Our ideal candidate has:
  • A big heart and a genuine passion for helping children with SEN overcome challenges and reach their goals.
  • Experience working with SEN students (preferred but not essential—you’ll get plenty of training and support!).
  • Patience, empathy, and adaptability—you’ll need to handle a variety of situations with a calm and caring approach.
  • A strong desire to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to provide the best learning experience possible.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant Certificate (or willingness to work towards one).
