Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) and Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioners to work in a range of welcoming primary schools across Southampton from September 2026.
We are offering both full-time and part-time opportunities to suit a variety of schedules and experience levels.
Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
As an LSA, you will support pupils within the classroom, working closely with teachers to help children reach their full potential. This may include providing one-to-one support, assisting small groups, and helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
The ideal candidate will:
• Have experience working with children in a school or educational setting
• Be patient, caring, and adaptable
• Have strong communication and teamwork skills
• Be passionate about supporting children’s learning and development
Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner
We are also seeking qualified Nursery Practitioners to support EYFS settings within primary schools across Southampton. You will play an important role in supporting children’s early learning, development, and wellbeing.
Requirements:
• Level 3 Childcare Qualification (essential)
• Experience working within a nursery or early years setting
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework
• A nurturing and enthusiastic approach
