Opportunity to support students in a secondary school environment working with those who are identified as requiring additional assistance.
The purpose of the Learning Support Assistant will be to assist students identified as behind peers and look to close this gap where possible.
This secondary school is in the Trafford area with confirmation that they require the successful Learning Support Assistant to start with them at the beginning of the new academic year from Tuesday 6th September. The school is ideally looking to take on a Learning Support Assistant who has previous experience in supporting within a secondary school setting or similar where you can utilise your previous experience. The successful Learning Support Assistant will be supporting students across the age range with intervention in certain subjects as well as assisting students move around school. The school is therefore looking for a Learning Support Assistant who is confident in tutoring students and and is adaptable in their approach.

The school have advised that they are looking for a Learning Support Assistant on a full time basis who is available 5 days per week starting on Tuesday 6th September.
Ideally starting at the beginning of the new academic year, any individuals who have been a Mentor, Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant or supported young people in another setting, are highly encouraged to apply now for immediate consideration.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
