Learning Support Assistant (Special Education)

Location: Lambeth, London | SW16

The ideal candidate will have experience with ADHD, Autism, and moderate learning difficulties. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualised support to Reception students with special educational needs (SEN).
• Implement tailored learning activities under the direction of the classroom teacher.
• Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor and track students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
• Foster social, emotional, and educational development.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.

Requirements:

• Relevant SEN qualification or proven experience in a similar role.
• Experience working with children with ADHD, Autism, and moderate learning difficulties.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A valid DBS check is required.
• Passion for making a positive impact on the lives of young learners.
