An exciting opportunity at a large secondary school in Salford to provide small group interventions for pupils at various levels of learning ability.
Upon their return to school in the new academic year, schools are preparing for a number of students to require additional support due to the most recent pandemic. Therefore, in order to ensure they reach their full potential and have targeted guidance, the school is hoping to recruit a learning mentor. Working as a Learning Mentor will involve working alongside class teachers to provide interventions for identified pupils who require extra support with learning of certain subjects. You will be supporting pupils at various levels of learning ability and all resources will be provided by the class teachers.
You must have experience of working with individuals who have learning or behavioural difficulties as these skills will be highly transferrable.
Our client school is located in Salford and is accessible via the M62 and A580 from surrounding areas such as Bolton and Leigh. For non-drivers, the academy can be accessed via several public transportation links from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
