A new and exciting opportunity has become available at one of our client Secondary schools in Bolton for an enthusiastic Learning Mentor to boost progress and raise attainment.

This opportunity is ideal for an individual who has previous experience supporting low-attaining pupils who have difficulty staying on task due to requiring additional support

  • Full-time Learning Mentor
  • Immediate start
  • Secondary School in Bolton
  • Work with pupils at various levels of learning ability.
  • Mentor students in small groups and on a 1:1 basis where needed.
  • Earn up to £350 per week, depending on experience.

The successful client will be expected to support students with SEN, such as dyslexia and ADHD who can show signs of occasional challenging behaviour. You will be supporting pupils aged 11-16 who require extra support in various subjects.

To be considered for this Learning Mentor role, it is required that you have experience of working with individuals who have learning or behavioural difficulties; specifically, students that are known to show challenging behaviour.

The secondary school is located in Bolton and is accessible via the M61 from surrounding areas such as Bury and Wigan. For non-drivers, the academy can be accessed via several public transportation links from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
