A Ofsted 'GOOD' secondary school in the Darwen area is looking for a Learning Mentor to start with them from November 2021. The successful Learning Mentor will be working with the new cohort of year 7 students, supporting them with the transition to high school, and back into structured education, ensuring they are supported in all aspects of learning and school life, particularly given the school closures. You will also be working with Year 9 students, as they embark on preparing to the next trasition into KS4 next academic year, and you will be expected to support particular pupils in their core subject lessons.
