Job Title: KS1 Class Teacher

Pay Rate: £120 – £160 per day

We are working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Chorley to recruit a dedicated Key Stage 1 Class Teacher for a long-term role running until July 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys building strong foundations in early learning and wants stability within a supportive school environment.

• Deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons across KS1

• Plan, assess and adapt learning in line with the national curriculum

• Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom

• Track pupil progress and support individual learning needs

• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and senior leaders

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 or Early Years

• Strong behaviour management and communication skills

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing

• Long-term consistency until the end of the academic year

• Competitive daily rate of £120–£160, depending on experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
