Are you an English or Maths specialist seeking flexible tutoring work within a welcoming secondary school? Do you have previous experience supporting pupils across Key Stages 3-4?

If so, there is an exciting opportunity to join a modern school located in Salford which requires a specialist Intervention Tutor to work with pupils who require additional support within English and Maths.  This role is ideal for candidates seeking full- time or part-time hours on a flexible basis.

-          Intervention Tutor – September 2020.

-          Close to public transport links and the M602 motorway!

-          Must have previous experience working with young people within a support or tutoring capacity.

-          1:1 and small group based sessions up to KS4 Level.

-          Earn up to £15-£30 per hour.

Your role and responsibilities will include supporting in raising attainment and providing a more tailored experience for identified pupils. You can expect to support the class teacher within lessons, provide targeted intervention sessions and also work with pupils on a 1:1 basis in order to help raise attainment and understanding within English and Maths.

The school is heavily over subscribed with over 1000 pupils currently on roll, aged 11-16. The school services the local catchment area, and has significantly more pupils receiving Pupil Premium funding throughout their education.  Salford can be accessed via the M602/A580 (East Lancashire Road) and there is also a number of public transport links across Greater Manchester.
